The SHRM Learning System is the preferred resource for SHRM certification exam preparation. Whether you prefer to learn through self-study or under the guidance of an instructor, we have a program for you. We also offer team-learning options.

Self-Study

Study for your exam anywhere you want and at your own pace with the SHRM Learning System or any of our other preparation options.

Instructor-Led Learning

The instructor-led learning option is ideal for those who prefer a structured environment with a live, SHRM-certified instructor. Classroom, virtual and hybrid options are offered throughout the year.

Passing the Exam

Bar Chart: 53% of SHRM-CP candidates who did not use the SHRM BASK or Learning System passed the exam, 62% who only used the Learning System passed the exam and 72% who used both the SHRM BASK and Learning System passed the exam. 36% of SHRM-SCP candidates who did not use the SHRM BASK or Learning System passed the exam, 45% who only used the Learning System passed the exam and 52% who used both the SHRM BASK and Learning System passed the exam. Test-takers who prepare using both the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (SHRM BASK) and the SHRM Learning System pass the exams at a significantly higher rate than using other study methods:

  • 36% more likely to pass the SHRM-CP exam
  • 42% more likely to pass the SHRM-SCP exam
