Tim Tebow to Discuss Motivation in the Workplace at SHRM Talent Conference & Expo 2022
SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, announced today that pro athlete Tim Tebow will join the SHRM Talent Conference & Expo 2022 as a mainstage speaker.
Alexandria, Va. — SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, announced today that pro athlete Tim Tebow will join the SHRM Talent Conference & Expo 2022 as a mainstage speaker. The conference will take place April 10-13 in Aurora, Colorado, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center.
Live on the Talent Main Stage on April 13, Tebow will discuss some of the factors that impede or cultivate motivation in the workplace and how HR leaders can energize their team and create a healthy and inclusive work environment filled with productive workers.
"In the past few years, leaders have had to learn what it means to reinvent and reset their organizations," said Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, SHRM president and chief executive officer. "Tim Tebow truly represents what it means to reinvent and pivot during difficult times, much like recruiters, HR professionals, and organizations throughout the pandemic, the Great Resignation and other challenges facing today's workforce."
Tebow has reinvented himself from starting out as a pro athlete on the Denver Broncos football team to playing on the New York Mets baseball team. Part of Tebow's success has been his ability to work within a diverse talent pool and quickly upskill as he transitioned to new teams and positions. In 2010, he established the Tim Tebow Foundation where one branch, Night to Shine, helps spark joy and honors those who are differently abled.
Tebow will join the lineup of over 65 speakers at the conference. Both in-person and virtual attendance will be available. Leaders will discuss how to attract, engage and retain top talent in a new world of work, while providing the tools needed to take strategies, processes and policies to the next level.
The theme of the SHRM Talent Conference & Expo 2022 is Cause the Effect, encouraging business and HR leaders to boldly bring about the changes they want to see in the world of work. More speakers will be announced. To learn more, please visit conferences.shrm.org/talent-conference.
