Liz Petersen, SHRM-SCP, is the Quality Manager for the HR Knowledge Center at SHRM. With over 25 years of HR experience and a SHRM Senior Professional Certification, Liz brings a wealth of expertise to her role, where she co-manages the advisors and senior advisors who handle the Ask an Advisor service, a key SHRM member benefit. Before joining SHRM, she excelled as an In-house and Outsourced HR Manager for various small and medium-sized organizations and industries.
Liz resides in Oceanside, CA, and enjoys relaxing at the beach, swimming with her pup, hacking away on the golf course, and exploring her newfound passion for painting.
