Pat leads the content creation for SHRM’s executive audiences, including for the SHRM Executive Network, the country’s leading community of HR leaders. He is editor of the award-winning People + Strategy journal, and he oversees a growing team that creates the weekly People + Strategy podcast and newsletter, plus other C-suite-focused content.   

Pat’s more than 25-year career as a business journalist includes stints as a newspaper reporter, an editorial director of a D.C.-based business publishing company, and a Washington speechwriter. In his spare time, he enjoys trail running and spending time with his wife and two children.
