Program Speakers
David Simmons
David Simmons is a strategic HR leader with expertise in HR Business Partnership, Talent Development, and Employee Experience. As a Senior HR Business Partner at Bio-Techne, he drives HR strategy for 250+ employees across Engineering, R&D, Operations, and Commercial teams. He has led DEIB initiatives, ERG strategy execution, leadership development programs, and workforce analytics, improving engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
David has held key HR and leadership roles at Amazon, Valmont Industries, Employer Flexible HR, and George Washington University, gaining experience in talent management, HR operations, and change management. He holds an MBA in HR Management from the University of Houston-Downtown, a BS from Louisiana State University, and is SHRM-CP certified.
Passionate about developing people and building inclusive, high-performing cultures, David is committed to shaping the next generation of HR professionals.
Shari Dunn
Shari Dunn, Managing Director, Gallagher Compensation & Rewards Consulting, has a long and varied background in compensation management, having worked both internally as a manager and as a consultant in this field with such firms as McKinsey & Co., Deloitte, Boise Cascade and Bank of America. She later founded CompAnalysis, a San Francisco Bay Area consultancy dedicated to helping employers make successful compensation decisions. Prior to being acquired by Gallagher in 2010, CompAnalysis had grown to become a leading independent compensation management consulting firm, specializing in broad-based pay plans. Now, she and her staff at Gallagher work with both non-profit and for-profit employers to develop and maintain executive and broad-based compensation plans, as well as incentive pay approaches, for employers across the U.S.
Shari has a B.A. degree in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley and is the former President of what then was the 5,000 + member Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA). She holds memberships in the Bay Area Compensation Association, SHRM, and WorldatWork. In 2022, she was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for Consulting Excellence from Consulting Magazine.
Felicia Hollins, SHRM-CP
Felicia Hollins, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Manager of Employee Experience. With a solid background in HR Operations, she has a passion for implementing strategic HR initiatives that enhance onboarding processes, compliance, engagement, and HR operational efficiency. As a first-generation college graduate, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, a minor in Contemporary Leadership, and multiple HR certifications; her expertise in human resources is fortified by a strong commitment to fostering positive work environments and driving organizational growth.
Jason Shreve
Jason Shreve is a seasoned Talent Development leader with over 28 years of experience in enhancing employee engagement and leadership capabilities. As the Head of Talent Development at Frank, Rimerman + Co., LLP, Jason has spearheaded transformative initiatives that align talent strategies with business objectives, resulting in measurable improvements in performance and organizational success.
Jason's expertise spans across strategic talent management, instructional design, digital transformation, and cultural transformation. He has a proven track record in managing large-scale training programs and budgets, leveraging advanced data analytics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement at various Fortune 100 companies. His innovative approach to learning experience design and leadership development has led to significant increases in employee engagement and retention.
In addition to his corporate experience, Jason is the Founder and President of Peak Performance Unleashed, LLP, specializing in peak-performance, high-flow coaching. He holds a Peak Performance, High-Flow Coaching certification, which supports individuals in achieving a state of flow and optimal performance. Jason's dynamic coaching approach helps clients induce and sustain flow for complete focus, heightened skill utilization, and increased intrinsic motivation.
Jason's commitment to fostering inclusive and high-performing cultures is evident through his leadership in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. He founded and led the internal DEI Committee at Frank, Rimerman + Co., LLP, implementing key initiatives that embedded DEI values throughout talent development processes.
Jason holds a Master of Arts in Management & Leadership and Human Resources Development from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Computer Information Sciences from the University of Louisville. His extensive experience, combined with his passion for continuous learning and development, makes him a valuable contributor to discussions on careers in HR and L&D.
