Roberta joined TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank in May 2010 as senior vice president, Human Resources Team Lead for the Metro Florida and Metro Mid South markets. She has also served as the HR Lead for the Carolinas and TD Auto Finance US, and for Regional Retail Banking from Maine to Florida. Currently, she is senior vice president, Human Resources Lead for Direct Channels (Phone, ATM, and Digital), Payments, and Consumer Business Management and Governance.
Prior to TD Bank, Roberta served as executive vice president of human resources for BankUnited from January 2003 to April 2010 and was responsible for staffing, employee relations, compensation and payroll, benefits, training, and organizational development. She was vice president of human resources from 2001 to 2002 at Kemper National Services.
Prior to Kemper, Kressel worked at SunTrust for 21 years where she served as senior vice president, human resources relationship manager from 2000 to 2001, and senior vice president, human resources manager from 1998 to 2000.
Kressel has been an adjunct professor at Barry University and Florida International University where she taught the Human Resources Certification and SHRM Essentials classes. Kressel is a past president of the Greater Miami Society of Human Resources Management. She has served on the Board of Governors for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, as a Trustee on the Board of Florida Memorial University, is the past Chairperson of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Ethics Advisory Committee, and has served on the Finance and Continue United Committees of the United Way of Miami-Dade County.
Kressel received her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Florida and her master's degree in counseling from Florida International University. In 2015 the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
