Nancy is a long-time journalist who covered labor and immigration for the Los Angeles Times and the U.S.-Mexico border for the San Diego Union-Tribune. She was the lead writer on a series about Wal-Mart's international labor practices that won a Pulitzer Prize. She also held senior communications positions for several federal labor agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Mine Safety and Health Administration.
