Dori Meinert is managing editor of HR Magazine. Before joining SHRM in 2010, she was editor of Common Ground magazine, published by the Community Associations Institute. From 1985 to 2007, she was a Washington correspondent for Copley News Service, covering Congress, federal agencies, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She has a master’s degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Northern Illinois University.
