The self-assessment tool identifies the 'needs' of employees that are being met or not, depending on the response to the question. The report will allow organizations to recognize and reflect on the highly personal nature of employee experience and the emotional connection between one's work and the workplace.
Inspired by Maslow's theory of needs, this survey tool helps employers manage people according to their innate human needs. It enables managers and supervisors to identify the needs of their employees and to apply the hierarchy of needs to strategic and operational planning. Understanding each employee's personal connection to engagement serves as an important tool for leaders and managers to use to improve the employee experience. For every item answered ‘No’ or ‘N’, leaders can use the recommended courses of action mentioned in the table to improve the strategy.
