Our mission is to empower people and workplaces by advancing HR practices and by maximizing human potential.

Our vision is to build a world of work that works for all.

When SHRM identifies businesses aligned with its purpose, mission and vision, SHRM may choose to partner with them to bolster impact through advocacy, content, education, events, research or sponsorship. Partnering with SHRM may mean different things depending on the opportunity and mutual goals of SHRM and its partners.

Below is a brief overview of the different ways in which businesses may partner with at SHRM to help connect you with the right team.

Advertising & Media
SHRM’s authority in the HR market is recognized by organizations all over the world. By partnering with SHRM, your brand has the opportunity to reach and engage with executive leaders, HR specialists and HR generalists within organizations ranging from SMB (small and mid-size businesses) to Fortune 100 companies. Whether you’re looking to increase your brand’s perception within the HR community, promote a product/service, or implement a lead-gen/demand-gen program, SHRM Media will successfully execute your program and deliver the ROI needed to grow your business.
Event Exhibits & Sponsorships
SHRM produces and supports events all year long. Our events provide partners the opportunity to enhance their brand, expand their network and access SHRM’s audience of HR influencers. We offer a platform that elevates partners (exhibitors and sponsors) through experiences such as:
  • Exhibit Booth rentals and Face-to-Face Marketing
  • Products or services launch
  • Onsite branding opportunities
  • Attendee mailing lists
  • Surprise and delight moments
  • Virtual event sponsorships
These opportunities can all be customized to fit your company goals. Connect with us to discuss your goals for exhibiting at or sponsoring a SHRM event.
SHRM Certification
Become a SHRM Recertification Provider and be recognized as a provider of choice by SHRM-certified professionals. Being identified as a SHRM Recertification Provider eliminates the guesswork for credential-holders, who will know by your status that your program qualifies for recertification credits. Qualified activities may include conferences, college/university courses, seminars, workshops, videoconferences, webcasts, e-learning and other programs. Note that for exam development and test administration, SHRM partners exclusively with long-standing partners that align with rigorous standards required of SHRM Certification’s accrediting body.
Government Affairs
As the voice of all things work, federal and state lawmakers rely on SHRM to inform and shape policy solutions that benefit work, workers, and the workplace.

We also shape workplace policy through SHRM’s Advocacy Team (A-Team), comprised of HR professionals in all 50 states and 435 congressional districts across the country. Learn more about the A-Team by visiting SHRM’s Advocacy website.
