For the many employers in the midst of open enrollment planning, we've compiled model health plan notices from federal government agencies. Where possible, we also provide related reading.
The fine print: These links to sources for model notices were retrieved on September 7, 2023. This chart is intended to indicate general notice requirements applicable to employer sponsored health plans. It does not cover all special requirements that may apply in a particular year due to an extraordinary event or that may apply only to a particular employer or employee. As with all matters involving legal interpretation, plan sponsors should rely on their attorneys for legal advice on questions of specific application to their plans and any additional notice requirements.
