Emmy-Award Winning Actor Jason Sudeikis Announced as Main Stage Speaker at SHRM Annual Conference & Expo 2024
Sudeikis to Join the World’s Largest HR Conference in Chicago for a Conversation on Mental Health, Workplace Culture, and Empathy
ALEXANDRIA, Va – SHRM, the trusted authority on all things work, today announced that Emmy-winning actor, comedian, writer, and producer Jason Sudeikis will join the Main Stage at the SHRM Annual Conference & Expo (SHRM24) in Chicago.
SHRM24 will take place June 23-26, 2024, at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. Those unable to attend in-person will have the option to attend virtually.
Most recently, Sudeikis starred as buoyant optimist Ted Lasso in the widely popular Apple TV+ series he co-created. Its first season was honored with the prestigious Peabody Award “for offering the perfect counter to the enduring prevalence of toxic masculinity, both on- screen and off, in a moment when the nation truly needs inspiring models of kindness.” He frequently speaks about the importance of fostering a positive workplace culture, overcoming mental health stigmas, and authentic leadership.
Sudeikis will sit down for a fireside chat with Betty Thompson, SHRM-SCP, Chair of the SHRM Board of Directors. “With his messages of transparent leadership, mental health awareness and wellness, Sudeikis took the world by storm with his portrayal of Ted Lasso,” shared Thompson. “SHRM members and HR professionals will be treated to an uplifting and engaging session full of humor and actionable insights to take back to their workplaces.”
