Job Summary:
The ATM Service Representative will oversee operation of the banks automated teller machines (ATMs) including installation, maintenance, and removal of machines.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- May oversee some maintenance operations and technicians.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinates installation, maintenance, and removal of ATM machines.
- Schedules services from outside vendors and contractors as needed.
- Alerts affected bank staff and departments of expected downtime and service interruptions.
- Ensures that instructions and signs are properly located near machines.
- Provides user training to bank staff to ensure their familiarity with machines and ability to assist customers.
- Integrates machines acquired from other banks (e.g., through mergers) into the banks ATM system.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of automated teller machines and applicable software.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with machines.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency required; Associates degree preferred.
- At least two years of experience in ATM operations required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to perform the physical aspects of repairing a machine including lifting up to 25 pounds at a time.
