Job Summary:
The Financial and Budget Assistant, Secretary will perform clerical duties and support related to the organizations budget.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Enters budget data and adjustments into financial accounting software and reconciles any differences.
- Reviews data and information for accuracy and makes corrections when necessary.
- Maintains accurate records for all transactions affecting budget preparation.
- Ensures records and reports are kept safely and securely.
- Produces reports and statistical data as needed.
- Performs administrative and secretarial duties as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent math skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in related field preferred.
- Two years of clerical experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
