Viewers of Episode 10 of "Tune in Tuesday," airing April 13, will hear updates from SHRM President and CEO Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, on the Together Forward @Work platform to achieve racial equity and inclusion, as well as information on second chance hiring.
Together Forward @Work is an initiative from the Society for Human Resource Management to bring racial equity to the workplace. Launched in 2020, the platform offers tools and information to help HR Professionals, People Managers, Executives and Emerging Professionals increase inclusion by having difficult but necessary conversations with co-workers and employees. New resources will be published on the Together Forward @Work site to further assist employers in this important work.

"Tune in Tuesday" viewers will also hear an update on second chance hiring. April is Second Chance Month, proclaimed by President Joe Biden to help people with criminal backgrounds reenter society successfully. Among other actions, Biden called on employers and others to remove barriers that prevent people with criminal histories from getting jobs and to implement quality job training during incarceration.
