SHRM, the trusted authority on all things work, has appointed the president of CEO Action for Inclusion & Diversity, the largest business-led coalition dedicated to fostering inclusion and diversity across workplaces.
Alexandria, Va. — SHRM, the trusted authority on all things work, worker and workplace, has appointed Anuradha Hebbar as the president of CEO Action for Inclusion & Diversity, the largest business-led coalition dedicated to fostering inclusion and diversity across workplaces, recently assumed by SHRM. With more than 25 years of expertise as a strategic business leader and human capital executive, Hebbar will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to C-suite executives committed to prioritizing impactful change in their workplaces.
“Today's business leaders need unifying leadership driven by objective and honest discussions on how to build the most inclusive and diverse workforces,” said Hebbar. “As I’ve done throughout my career, my goal is to serve as a data-driven, trusted advisor who helps CEOs navigate inclusion and diversity, and to work closely with them to create evidence-based strategies and solutions. Research and thought leadership are at the core of our CEO Action mission, and we will continue to equip CEOs with the data and solutions necessary to advance inclusion and diversity in the workplace.”
Hebbar was appointed for her exceptional ability to drive strategic transformation and enhance organizational effectiveness. She has consistently delivered impactful change across diverse sectors, including global, Fortune 500, mid-size and private equity-backed organizations. In her most recent role, Hebbar served as partner and executive managing director at Kincentric, a Spencer Stuart company, where she served on the executive team to transform a carve-out acquisition into a global agency. Hebbar also served as a trusted advisor to global CEOs in her role as the firm’s global diversity, equity and inclusion practice leader. Her previous positions, including global head of diversity and inclusion at Verizon and Zurich Insurance, divisional vice president at Health Care Services Corporation, and strategic director at McDonald’s Corporation, showcase her expertise in steering initiatives that foster inclusive cultures and innovative human capital strategies.
“Anuradha's extensive experience and dedication to fostering inclusive workplaces make her a perfect fit to lead CEO Action for Inclusion & Diversity. Her leadership will be instrumental in working with CEOs to drive meaningful change across industries,” said Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM's president and CEO. “We are excited to have such an accomplished leader on board as we continue to promote the importance of inclusion and diversity to drive superior business outcomes.”
Joining Hebbar’s CEO Action team are Ashley Miller, director of operations; Madison Lazas, manager, marketing and communications; and Chris Loscar, senior specialist, operations. Miller has held multiple leadership roles across SHRM, most recently as director of content strategy, and brings a wealth of experience as an industrial/organization psychologist and her work as a human capital consultant. Lazas has nearly a decade of experience in media relations and reputation management, and is known for her successful communication campaigns for high-profile clients and executives. Loscar brings to the team vast knowledge of strategic project management and operational experience.
