Shannon McCurdy
Shannon McCurdy, SHRM-SCP, has over 10+ years of experience in Human Resources field. She obtained her BA in Communications, Minor in Studio Arts, with a Certificate in Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh, and earned her Masters of Professional Studies of Human Resources and Employment Relations with a focus on Leadership and Ethics from Pennsylvania State University. She has worked in a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and higher education, including both non-profit and private sectors, including leadership development, performance and talent management, management coaching, employee relations, engagement, training and development, talent acquisition, total rewards and benefits. Shannon has been an active member in her formerly local SHRM Chapter, Human Resource Professionals of Central PA, serving as both the Membership Engagement Director and Vice President Board Member roles, as well as the Professional Development committee, including 2 years as one of HRP's SHRM Certification Study Group certified instructors.
Shannon recently moved to the City of Alexandria, Virginia with her rescue puppy named Wesley and is looking forward to her next chapter.
