Dana Wilkie has covered employee relations for SHRM since 2013. Before then, she worked in the Bloomberg News D.C. bureau, where she was a reporter and editor. Before that, she was a national correspondent in the D.C. bureau of the San Diego Union-Tribune, where she covered the White House, Congress, federal agencies, several congressional campaigns, and three presidential campaigns. She was also assigned to cover national breaking stories, including the Sept. 11 attack on the Pentagon. She has a bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in writing and literature.
