This presentation is part 1 of 3 in a series of SHRM survey findings about the state of jobs and skills in the U.S. Data are presented by industry, and comparisons are made by organization staff size and sector when significant differences were found.
The majority (80%) of organizations reported their financial health as being “excellent” or “good.” Compared with a year ago, more than one-half (57%) of organizations reported having significant or mild improvement in 2013, an increase from 51% in 2012 and 42% in 2011.
