You will receive a welcome letter 2 weeks prior to the program's start date, which will include all program logistics and a link to download materials.

All cancellations must be in writing using our online form. Confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund minus a $250 cancellation fee up to 10 business days before the program. If you find that you are unable to attend and it is less than 10 business days before the program's start date, you may send a replacement to attend in your place. If you are unable to send a replacement, you forfeit your registration fee. Should the program be cancelled by SHRM, SHRM is not responsible for any penalty incurred by purchasing a nonrefundable airline ticket or related travel fees.
You must return the SHRM Certification Prep System unopened. If it has been opened or used, or if you have accessed the online learning platform, you will not be eligible for a refund on the materials.
In such cases, you will be charged the full cost of the materials. Your refund will be equal to the registration fee, minus the cost of the materials (if applicable) and a $250 cancellation fee.
Transfers are permitted one time only within the calendar year. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing via e-mail, no later than 10 business days before the program start date. You may transfer into another program that will be held before December 31 of the current calendar year. You may also choose to transfer your registration to another SHRM event within the same calendar year (not a SHRM Educational Program) but will be responsible for paying any price difference (if applicable). If you are unable to attend the program to which you transfer, you may send a replacement. If you are unable to send a replacement, you forfeit your registration fee. All transfers must be made in writing using our online form.
Please note that your transfer will not provide access to a new SHRM Prep System (formerly known as SHRM learning system), nor will it alter or extend your current access end date.
SHRM Certification Prep+ includes enrollment in an instructor-led seminar—offered in person or live online—and full access to the SHRM Certification Prep System, including printed materials and the online platform. The SHRM Certification Prep System is a self-paced suite of study tools designed to reinforce and extend what you learn in the seminar.
Your books will be mailed to the shipping address provided during your registration. For domestic orders, you can expect the delivery of your books 7-10 business days from the date of your purchase. Shipping time for international orders can vary depending on the country and their customs system.
Yes. You are expected to log in to the SHRM Certification Prep System and complete the four pretests prior to the first session.
