OVERVIEW
In 2025, SHRM will continue to build on the topic of Civility as a cornerstone of its marketing and content strategy. Recognizing civility as both a business imperative and societal necessity, we are committed to empowering employees, managers, and organizational leaders with the tools they need to foster respectful, inclusive, and successful workplaces.
CREATIVE APPLICATIONS
When applicable, the Civility fonts, colors, and textures should be used in marketing and promotional collateral. The 1 Million Civil Conversations logo will be sunset in 2025. All Civility collateral should feature the Masterbrand logo (blocks) with the Better Workplaces Better World Tagline.

- Photos should be people-focused with subjects interacting organically without feeling staged.
- Lighting and coloring should be natural, clean, and modern.
- Settings should be a mixture of both inside and outside of workplaces with images in office evoking a sense of connection.
- Leverage open space visuals like round table discussions, sofa conversations, and brainstorming sessions.
- Relevant nonoffice setting examples include cafes, walking, outside building.
- Include people of various ethnicities, races, ages, geners, abilities, etc.
