SHRM Civility 2025 Brand Board
OVERVIEW
In 2026, SHRM will continue to build on the topic of Civility as a cornerstone of its marketing, content, and thought leadership strategy. Recognizing civility as both a business imperative and societal necessity, we are committed to empowering employees, managers, and organizational leaders with the tools they need to foster respectful, inclusive, and successful workplaces.
CREATIVE APPLICATIONS
Civility fonts, colors, and textures used in marketing and promotional collateral from 2024 to Q3 2025 will be sunset. This includes the The 1 Million Civil Conversations logo, the Civility Color Palette, and Civility Typography. Moving forward, all Civility collateral should fall under the treatment of SHRM Master Brand and should continue to feature the logo (blocks) with the Better Workplaces Better World Tagline.

PHOTOGRAPHY
- Photos should be people-focused with subjects interacting organically without feeling staged.
- Lighting and coloring should be natural, clean, and modern.
- Settings should be a mixture of both inside and outside of workplaces with images in office evoking a sense of connection.
- Leverage open space visuals like round table discussions, sofa conversations, and brainstorming sessions.
- Relevant nonoffice setting examples include cafes, walking, outside building.
- Include people of various ethnicities, races, ages, geners, abilities, etc.
