Fertility is not only a global healthcare concern, but also an important workplace issue. To better understand how fertility impacts the workplace, Carrot Fertility surveyed 5,000 people across the U.S., UK, Canada, India, and Mexico. Carrot asked questions to get a sense of how people around the world feel about fertility topics at work and how they want to be supported in their fertility and family-forming journeys. Results include:

  • 72% would stay at their company longer if they had access to fertility benefits
  • 42% of respondents say that a new job offer with no fertility benefits would be a “deal breaker"
  • Only 32% of respondents seeking to grow their families say they are able to afford fertility treatments if needed
  • 55% report that fertility challenges have detrimentally impacted their work performance
