The pandemic has brought a new way to approach work, and with 10 months of trial and error behind us, most of us have settled into new routines. We’ve seen some good changes to how we work: less time spent on commuting; better albeit still frustrating integrations of technology. And we’ve experienced some challenging ones, too: fewer workplace distractions have been replaced by distractions from those at home with, longer work days and a sense that, since we don't know when things will return to normal, we can plan only a few weeks or months out.

All the pieces are in place: Your employees have figured out how to work from home, your managers how to manage remote employees and your IT team has the necessary infrastructure in place. In a recent study by Mercer, 94 percent of employers said that productivity was the same as or higher than it was before the pandemic. In this program, Leila Bulling Towne will discuss how to plan for 2021. You'll hear how a clear vision from HR and your management team can supercharge your productivity gains in 2021. You'll hear HR can take the lead in helping staff deal with ambiguities, self-prioritize, communicate effectively and use emotional intelligence to build and inspire virtual teams.

She will also share her experience with teams since the pandemic started and where she’s seen leaders get stuck and confused -- and what happens to employee engagement and productivity as a result.
