November is National Diabetes Month, an important time where communities unite to spread awareness about diabetes through education of symptoms and risk factors and most importantly, promote the importance of healthy living.

While diabetes is being diagnosed at a rate of a global epidemic with millions dying of comorbidities annually worldwide, the treatment and management of diabetes proves difficult with the struggle to engage those with the condition and is accompanied by poor awareness of its severity.

Living with diabetes is costly for the patient and the employer. From doctor’s visits to ER trips, costs can quickly mount and become another stressor. In this panel presented hosted by Roche Diabetes Care, you will hear from specialists and people with diabetes on the importance of supporting your employees who live with this relentless and costly condition.

About the Presenters: Jeff Claffey has held multiple sales and sales leadership roles in Roche’s U.S. sales organization, delivering consistent results and emerging as an industry thought leader. Living with Type 1 diabetes, Claffey possesses a thorough understanding of the different disease states and solutions, which includes personal use/and selling of the mySugr/Roche Diabetes Health Connection. He has a proven passion for finding ways to partner with health plans, health systems, employers and condition management service providers to deliver improved outcomes through integrated solutions and services in an increasingly competitive diabetes market.

Enrico Repetto has eighteen years of experience working for pharmaceutical companies such as Roche, Novo Nordisk and AstraZeneca, leading medical affairs teams both locally and globally. He has led cross-functional teams across multiple therapeutic areas, including endocrinology and cardiology. Repetto has also worked in clinical practice as a diabetologist for 15 years and led research projects during his academic life.

Today, Johnson is the patient success manager, for mySugr's U.S. operations and continues to run his award-winning blog, scottsdiabetes.com. He is also a member of the Children with Diabetes faculty where he develops educational curriculums and content for the Friends for Life annual conference and regional events. Johnson has served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Diabetes Hands Foundation and was a founding member of Partnering for Diabetes Change.

Molly Wagman is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES.) She leads the mySugr coaching team and clinical programs.
