Every business has their own process when it comes to contingency planning, but how can companies be expected to develop universally effective strategies to weather the storm and return to work during an unpredictable pandemic?

It’s tough to make the right decisions without a COVID-19 playbook and while there’s still a lot that we don’t know, public health experts are learning more each day based on new data and research that can help businesses be prepared for the worst while continuing to hope for the best.

Kavita Patel, MD, a fellow at the Brookings Institution and and former White House policy director, will discuss everything we’ve learned about reopening society during a pandemic and how business leaders can prepare themselves differently to avoid unnecessary risk and liability in the future.

In this webcast, you will learn:

  • Which basic safety measures are the most effective and why health monitoring is essential for employees’ safety when returning to work facilities
  • Which factors will affect employees and impact business productivity, including: school closures, co-living space quarantines, and discontinuation of public transport
  • The role of contact tracing (manual investigations and automated technology) and why businesses will need to know how to do it
  • How businesses are developing strategies now so they can be better prepared for a second wave of COVID-19 in the fall
