A fall 2020 survey conducted by Outschool showed that over 25 percent of moms cut back on work as they balanced competing demands between work and family.

All parents, but particularly moms, have acutely felt the impact of this year of school and office closures.

In this program, Amy Yamner Jenkins from Outschool, Jadey Ryndak from The Mom Project and Natasha Prasad of Cleo, will address the unique demands facing women in the workforce, both today and tomorrow and what steps HR leaders can take to recruit, support and retain this valuable employee group.

About the Presenters: Amy Yamner Jenkins is the head of schools and distribution for Outschool, an online marketplace for live, virtual classes for kids aged three to 18. She has spent more than 20 years working in education in roles such as a middle school teacher in Oakland, an after-school program provider in San Francisco, an investor through NewSchools Venture Fund and chief operating officer of Education Elements. Jenkins is a frequent speaker at education conferences and the author of several publications.

Natasha Prasad serves as chief customer officer for Cleo, an online benefits marketplace for parents. She leads strategy and operations for the global care practitioners and career coaches that directly support Cleo’s end users, as well as the customer success team that supports Cleo’s employer partners. Prior to Cleo, she served as country manager for ClassPass in Australia, where she built and oversaw regional operations, including sales, success and marketing. Previously, Prasad was the founder and CEO of a fitness technology startup that was subsequently acquired by ClassPass and held product management roles at enterprise and consumer technology companies, most recently Atlassian in Sydney.

Jadey Ryndak is senior director of enterprise partnerships at The Mom Project. An avid believer in the power of authenticity as a game-changer, she has spent the last 20 years supporting individuals and building teams at companies ranging from startups to global staffing firms.
