2020 was certainly a year no one will forget. The challenges were abundant and still haven’t been fully solved, but they’ve taught us a lot. And whether we like it or not, the challenges we faced last year will shape our organizations’ futures forever. So how can we make sure the experiences we had in 2020 help us continue to build a stronger company culture in 2021?

In this program, BizLibrary's Libby Mullen and RetailNext's Andrew Golden will lead a discussion on HR and learning and development (L&D) planning for this new year. During this session, they will focus on the following five key areas and explain how together they create the foundation of a successful company culture of the future:

  • Reevaluating your mission, vision and values since COVID-19
  • Remote hiring and onboarding
  • Retaining top talent
  • Supporting employee well-being and development
  • Ensuring diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) initiatives are top of mind
During this session, you’ll learn:

  • How to rethink the challenges of 2020 and turn them into positives for the future
  • Expert advice on enhancing your HR and L&D planning processes to adapt to the ‘New Normal’
  • Why taking action now is necessary in the areas of hiring, onboarding and L&D will help prepare your entire organization for a successful 2021
