Your SHRM Student membership is an important first step in starting off strong in your HR career! We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your SHRM membership, so we have outlined some key benefits and resources available to you. SHRM Foundation Scholarships: In 2018, the SHRM Foundation will award more than $500,000 in support to students and HR professionals seeking undergraduate, graduate, certification, recertification and professional development opportunities. We encourage all eligible SHRMstudent members to apply for one or more of the scholarships or awards found on the Scholarship Overview page.

In addition to multiple other scholarships for students the SHRM Foundation also presents the Susan R. Meisinger Fellowship for Graduate Study in HR Award to one student each year.

  • $10,000 renewable for a second year; up to $20,000 total 
  • Applications Deadline: August 15
