For jobs that have been difficult to fill, 39% of organizations have hired U.S. veterans, and nearly one-quarter (24%) have hired workers from outside the U.S. This is the last part of a three-part series of SHRM Poll findings on how the recession is impacting employers in the U.S. Part one focused on recruiting and skill gaps, and part two looked at overall financial health and hiring.
