This study explores opinions about the job negotiation process from the perspectives of both human resource professionals and employees. Components of salary, bonuses and/or benefits prospective employees attempted to negotiate most often are examined. These results are compared to the benefits HR professionals are actually most willing to negotiate. Other aspects of job negotiation are also discussed.
