  • The cost of absence adds up fast. It’s not only vacation and sick time you pay for. There's lost productivity, expensive overtime hours and costly compliance errors. Outdated, manual tracking only compounds the problem. Between inefficient management processes and the complexities of scheduling, approving and auditing employee absence, your budget can be underwater before you know it.

In this program Evren Esen, SHRM's Director of Survey Programs, and Kronos Incorporated Solution Consultants Toni Kellam and Jim Manfield will review the findings of SHRM's new absence study. You'll also learn how automated workforce management solutions can keep hidden costs from creeping up. During the webinar you will learn how a fully automated absence management system can help you:

    • Efficiently manage scheduled and unscheduled absence
    • Identify and rectify costly absence trends
    • Use real-time data visibility for quick fixes to last minute absences
    • Minimize compliance risk associated with FMLA

About the presenters: Toni Kellam is a Solution Consultant at Kronos Incorporated. Ms. Kellam has spent the last 16 years studying the Family Medical Leave Act as it was written, the subsequent changes to it, and the different interpretations of the law in general.
