    How SHRM Foundation supports Chapters and State Councils: 
    The SHRM Foundation is dedicated to supporting volunteer leaders, and provides the following resources: 
    SHRM Foundation Scholarships and Awards
    Annually, the SHRM Foundation awards more than 100 scholarships for SHRM certification, academic studies, and to attend the SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition.

    • SHRM Foundation Complimentary Resources

    The SHRM Foundation produces and publishes research-based, workplace resources that provide effective HR practices. To request copies of SHRM Foundation DVDs, reports, briefings, or brochures- Click here

    • Recognition
    The SHRM Foundation recognizes chapters and state councils that focus on shaping the future of HR by educating others about the SHRM Foundation.
    - The Foundation Champion program honors chapters and state councils that provide outstanding support to the SHRM Foundation. To learn more about SHAPE requirement 3.3 and how to become a Champion- Click here

    - Annually, the SHRM Foundation recognizes the top fundraising 10 state councils and top 25 fundraising chapters. The fundraising totals come from the chapter/state council gift plus any recognition credits that were received on their behalf. This prestigious group of individuals are honored at the SHRM Foundation's Luncheon in June. Click here to see the winners from 2014.

    - NEW in 2015! The SHRM Foundation Innovation Awards will recognize SHRM chapters and state councils that engage creative and innovative ideas to support the SHRM Foundation and help shape the future of HR. There will be six categories and the chapters/state councils can submit an entry based on their size grouping. The deadline to apply is October 15th.

    The SHRM Foundation is dedicated to supporting the workplace and HR professionals and we need your help to reach current and future business leaders. 

              - Learn about monthly updates through our e-newsletter. Click here to opt in or view the latest news

              - Share regular updates about the SHRM Foundation at your chapter/council meeting and include information in your newsletters.


     Raise funds for the SHRM Foundation

    Foundation recognizes the generous support of SHRM chapters and state councils, individuals, corporations and others who make its work possible. Chapters and Councils are encouraged to:

             - Donate to the Foundation- online, mail, or phone

             - Check if your chapter or state council gift has been received by looking at the SHRM Foundation’s Contribution Reports. This is also a great place to see a list of donors from your chapter/state council. Donations from individuals are considered recognition credits and are credited towards chapter/state council year end fundraising totals.
