November Elections

This year’s presidential election is shaping up to be another nail-biter. Recent polls have President Obama and the presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney deadlocked at 47% each, and note that the economy and jobs are the No. 1 priority on voters’ minds.

During the Republican and Democratic conventions, scheduled to run the last week of August and first week of September, the candidates will attempt to define their positions on these critical issues. SHRM too will use that time to educate cable viewers about the Society and our members, along with the role both play in today’s workplaces, by showcasing a new 30-second television ad.

For a quick glimpse of where the candidates stand on key HR policy issues, check the links below. For a preview of the SHRM 2012 commercial that will run during the conventions and up until Election Day (November 6th), click HERE.
