2012 Presidential Election

On Thursday, May 31, from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (ET), SHRM will kick off its sponsorship of National Journal’s “Compare the Candidates” series with a policy forum event at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.  To access this event live on Thursday morning, click HERE

The event is the first in a series of three that will explore the 2012 Presidential Election and each candidate’s vision for America on a broad range of public policy issues. With the two presidential nominees sharply diverging on key policy issues such as the economy, workplace policy, energy and foreign policy, President Obama and Governor Romney will provide the American public with the starkest contrast since 1984, if not 1964.

SHRM’s sponsorship is a unique, high-visibility opportunity for SHRM as the National Journal is one of Washington’s most respected publications and a trusted source of information for members of Congress, the media and SHRM’s advocacy-minded members.

To follow the event on Twitter, please use the hashtag #NJCompare.
