2010 Employment Law & Legislative Conference

   2/15/2010

If you’ve always wanted to network with Washington “movers and shakers” in one of the nation’s most impressive landmarks, SHRM can make your wish a reality.

On Thursday, March 18, SHRM will host an invitation-only reception in the Library of Congress for everyone attending our Employment Law & Legislation Conference (March 17 - 19).  It will be an excellent opportunity for SHRM members to meet some of Washington’s leading decision-makers – and for officials in Washington to become better acquainted with many of our most dedicated and thoughtful HR professionals.

Last week, SHRM was granted special permission from the Librarian of the Congress to host this event for its members – and uncommon occurrence for any association.

The Library of Congress is the nation's oldest federal cultural institution and serves as the research arm of Congress.  It is also the largest library in the world, with nearly 142 million items including more than 32 million books and other print materials in 470 languages; and the world's largest collection of legal materials, films, maps, sheet music and sound recordings.

We hope to see you at this extraordinary event at a breathtaking venue.
