Today’s world is enormously complex and more interdependent than at any time in history. Organizations are confronting global issues they have never faced before. To be effective, the leaders of tomorrow must be able to collaborate while navigating cultural, regional and political differences. In this DVD, the SHRM Foundation visits the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland to learn first-hand about its approach to leadership. The video features interviews with some of the Forum’s key players. It also explores the Forum’s Global Leadership Fellows Program, a “leadership incubator” helping to shape the next generation of world leaders.
Founded in 1971, the World Economic Forum was created not to make decisions, but to act as a force for reflection; connecting ideas, stakeholders, countries, and cultures.
The DVD may be viewed with subtitles in French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Korean.
The HR Certification Institute has approved this DVD for one hour of strategic or international certification credit when used with the companion materials below as part of a 1-hour educational session.
