Karen B. Paul, Ph.D. Karen B. Paul is the Leader of the Global Measurement Center of Expertise at 3M where she has responsibility for creation and execution of global strategy for Executive Assessment & Coaching, Testing, Organizational Survey Research, Employment Brand, Engagement, and Retention. Karen has been with 3M for 20 years and held both HR generalist and specialist assignments. Her current research interests are on the impact of engagement on Innovation. Her research has been published in major academic and professional journals. Karen’s newest book chapter is in The Executive Guide to Integrated Talent Management detailing the five year close collaboration within Talent Solutions at 3M that has resulted in numerous awards including Best-practice by APQC for “Rewarding, Engaging, and Retaining Key Talent”, awarded Top Companies for Leaders sponsored by the Hay Group, Best Companies for Leaders led by Hewitt and Associates and currently (#10) on the 2013 Best Companies for Leaders conducted by the Chally Group for CEO Magazine. Karen received her PhD in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University and is a Fellow in the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a charter member of the Association for Psychological Science.
