Program Overview
The field of Workplace Diversity & Inclusion is a challenging and exciting career path for those who seek to create positive changes in organizations. However, competent Diversity & Inclusion practitioners must be more than "passionate believers." They must be strong communicators that can effectively negotiate and influence people. They must be humble leaders that can interact and motivate individuals as well as groups. But above all, they must be savvy business professionals that are willing to initiate and steer organizational change.
For those who are brand new to the field, or those who wish to begin a career in Diversity & Inclusion management, this one-day workshop will introduce new practitioners to the broad range of knowledge, tasks and competencies necessary to practice effectively in the twenty-first century. "The Diversity Practitioner of the 21st Century" is an interactive day based on cutting-edge research, best practices, and real-life case studies, taught by dynamic expert facilitators with more than ten years of experience in the field.
