Dear Volunteer Leaders:
I wanted to inform you personally of an excellent opportunity to help your organizations gain national and international recognition for their HR management best practices. On March 1 we announced, together with the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the launch of our new annual award, the HRM Impact Award.
This award, co-sponsored by SHRM, SIOP and our two foundations, is the first international award to honor organizations that have outstanding evidence-based HR management practices. The award competition will select winners based on HR practices and initiatives that have been measured and determined successful through evidence-based, data-driven analyses.
One or more winning organizations will be recognized publicly each year. Any for-profit, not-for-profit or government organization located anywhere in the world may apply for this award. Submissions will be accepted March 1 - July 1, 2013. Further information and application instructions can be found at www.hrminpactawards.org.
