Chapter Management 101 

The Human Resource Association of the National Capital Area, Washington, D.C. 

The Human Resource Association of the National Capital Area's (HRA-NCA) resource guide, “Chapter Management 101:  How to Select a Chapter Administrator” was created as an outcome of  their experience and is designed to educate and assist chapter leaders when faced with the task of choosing a chapter administrator.  The 48-page guide shares HRA-NCA’s experience, takes you through the steps and provides examples including a Request for Proposal (RFP) that you can adapt to your chapter’s needs.  It also shares lessons learned and stresses the importance of developing a transition plan and obtaining a written contract between your association and the chapter administrator.  

HRA-NCA won a 2002 Pinnacle Award for this Guide.
