SHRM Member Forums outside the United States

As part of a pilot program, SHRM Member Forums are being created in a few select locations around the world to provide opportunities for networking, sharing of best practices, and local face-to-face interaction among SHRM members in good standing. We believe the Forums will complement any memberships you may already have in local HR associations and encourage collaboration among all groups to best advance the HR profession and serve the HR professional.

Currently, there are SHRM Member Forums being created in the following locations:

Country  Contact
Cayman Islands  Samantha Nehra
Egypt  Nancy Kamel
Ghana  Kojo Ammisah
India*  India Forum Events
Indonesia  Rosaura Barrera
Nigeria  Oliver Nnona
Pakistan  Zahid Mubarak
Taiwan  Jerry Liao
Trinidad and Tobago  Hyacinth Guy
United Arab Emirates  Brad Boyson

To be formed, each SHRM Member Forum must have a dedicated and pre-approved Volunteer Leader, consist of a minimum of 20 SHRM members in good standing (Internet or Professional Members), and agree to organize at least four networking sessions per year which can be a mixture of in-person and virtual events, such as e-learning classes, webcasts, and teleconferences. Additionally, all SHRM Member Forum participants are required to sign a pledge to respect SHRM’s intellectual property and the usage of a designated SHRM Member Forum logo.

*SHRMIndia Forum Events are run in multiple cities by the SHRMIndia staff. Please visit the SHRMIndia website for more information.
