This week When Work Works visits another 2012 target state, Arizona, with a program at the Valley of the Sun Human Resource Association (VSHRA). When Work Works has had a strong presence in the state for several years under the leadership of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, the initiative’s community partner. The VSHRA event provides an ideal opportunity to discuss the business benefits of workplace flexibility with Phoenix area HR professionals and build additional support for the initiative in the state.

Under CSHRM’s leadership, HR professionals in the Cleveland area will receive valuable workplace flexibility resources, information and educational programming. - The 2012 Sloan Award employer application is now closed. SHRM and FWI appreciate the over 500 organizations that applied for this prestigious award. Employers that score within the top 20 percent of organizations nationally will move on to round two where their employees will be surveyed about their access to flexibility. Organizations moving on to round two can expect to be notified by mid-May.
