To date, this important initiative will deliver workplace flexibility educational opportunities to over 40 SHRM state councils and chapters across the country in 2012, with additional events being scheduled daily. As the end of the first quarter nears, the When Work Works roll-out is confirmed in 12 of the 15 target states for 2012. Educational programs in the remaining 2012 target states, Nevada, Maine and West Virginia, are still being identified.
New Flex At A Glance Brochure – SHRM and the Families and Work Institute have developed a new Flex At A Glance brochure to complement our When Work Works activities nationwide. This new resource provides HR professionals with a quick reference to define workplace flexibility and the “pressures” driving the need for flex, as well as implementation strategies and business leader testimonials.
