Professional SHRM membership $180. Professional membership provides all membership benefits, including but not limited to mail delivery of the print version of HR Magazine, a listing in the SHRM Member Directory online networking tool, access to more than 575 professional chapters across the country, and the opportunity to vote and hold office in SHRM chapters. |

Internet Only Membership US $95 For those residing outside the US, there is also an internet-only membership option that does not include printed copies of HR Magazine. |

Student Membership $35 Student Membership does not include the printed magazine or access to SHRM's Ask an Advisor service. Eligibility requirements are that you are a college student taking the equivalent of at least six (6) credit hours per term in a degree-seeking program and your coursework, taken or planned, supports a demonstrated interest in the field of human resource management.
- Students who are in established, professional roles will retain their current SHRM membership status. Existing professional members will not be eligible to downgrade to student membership.
- Student membership is limited to a maximum of six years, nonconsecutive.
